Nay Palad Hideaway: An Ultra Luxury Wedding Destination in Siargao Philippines

Tiny, exotic, relatively remote and unspoiled, Siargao is currently having a major tourism infrastructure boom where luxury resorts are slowly popping up in the most secluded yet magical places.

Named by Conde Nast Traveller magazine as The Best Island in the World in 2019, if you’re looking for the perfect spot in the Pacific to have the ultimate, intimate dream beach wedding, there’s no other place in the Philippines than in Siargao Island.

Nay Palad: Barefoot Luxury at Its Finest

Between mangrove forests and the beauty of the Pacific lies a luxurious resort in the palm-fringed shores of Siargao. Nay Palad, an exclusive, secluded, and ultra-luxurious resort offers guests the stay of a lifetime.

The resort is centered around the concept of Barefoot Luxury, where every inch of the place feels like your luxurious home away from home. If you’ve ever imagined a place where incredible natural beauty and 5-star facilities and hospitality meet, Nay Palad definitely comes to mind.

The resort is located in Malinao, General Luna, Siargao, which is a short 40-minute drive from the Siargao Sayak Airport. Upon arriving, guests are greeted by a traditional Philippine jeepney that’s decked to the rims with comfort and class: air-conditioned, comfortable padded seats, and a unique living room where you can relax as you are driven through farmed lands and luscious mountains nearby.

When talking about exclusivity and luxury, you will definitely receive the pampering you need at Nay Palad.

Nay Palad as a Wedding Destination

Nay Palad is perfect for an intimate and small beach wedding. The resort only features 10 villas, with a maximum of 30 guests. That means only a few number of guests are accommodated by the resort at any given time.

With this, you can just imagine the amount of attention given to you by the welcoming staff who make it their mission to make your wedding truly the event of a lifetime.

The resort features a beautiful private beach with its perfect white sand and crystal blue waters. Since the resort is nestled within a mangrove forest, your wedding can be as private and exclusive as can be imagined. You can have your ceremony by the beach, or along with the resort’s event space, or at their massive gardens. Whichever area you choose within the resort, you’ve got the perfect beach wedding backdrop.

But what makes Nay Palad the true epitome of exclusivity is the fact that to have your wedding here, you must book the entire resort, with a minimum of 20 guests and a maximum of 30 guests. They can only accommodate a small wedding party, which means your wedding can be as intimate as you want it to be.

Booking the entire resort allows you and your wedding party to have all the facilities and all the staff to yourselves. Your guests will be housed in one of the 5 superior villas and the 4 deluxe villas, while you and your future spouse will stay at the private Nay Palad Master Villa, which houses its very own private pool.

And that’s not all, because you also have to book the entire resort for a minimum of 2 nights, you get to enjoy everything Nay Palad has to offer with their all-inclusive packages. All-inclusive means you and your guests won’t ever have to take out your wallets when you stay here. Everything is included in the package, from every meal to every facility, to every activity – this is what Nay Palad means when they say Barefoot Luxury – everything is taken cared of when you stay at the resort.

The Villas and Facilities for Your Accommodation

As mentioned, Nay Palad only features 10 villas: 5 superior villas located in the gardens, and 4 deluxe villas with 2 bedrooms. The ultimate villa for the couple is the Nay Palad Master villa, which features state-of-the-art amenities that include a private pool, and both indoor and outdoor lounges.

When you book the resort for your wedding, you won’t have to manage or book anything else as everything is already included: meals include breakfast, lunch, and dinner; activities include all watersports and island tours; spa services; as well as all the other activities that include a cooking class and yoga sessions.

While the villas themselves offer absolute comfort and indulgence, there’s plenty to see and do within the resort. A gym, fitness club, a treehouse, a restaurant, a swimming pool, a bar, and outdoor cinema are yours to enjoy.

The resort even offers a children’s village, complete with a trampoline, kid’s treehouse, and a play area. At Nay Palad, not only do adults get the full-on pampering and hospitality, but kids are also taken care of at this luxury resort.

Island Activities for the Most Memorable Wedding

Siargao may be known as the surfing capital of the Philippines, but if riding the waves of Cloud 9 or the 20 other surf spots on the island doesn’t tickle your fancy, don’t worry. Siargao is more than just its surf: the number of other magical islets and islands scattered across Siargao are just as perfect.

Island hopping to Siargao’s 3 beautiful tiny islands: Naked, Daku, and Guyam, are a must activity for your entire wedding party. You can spend hours enjoying the sun and sand in these islands, while you are fed with the freshest catches of the day. When you’re done with island hopping, you can head over to Tourism Road in General Luna to do some souvenir shopping and some snacks along with the smaller resorts that dot the coastline. And when you’re done with your 4-course dinner at Nay Palad, you can head back to Tourism Road to enjoy the parties held at some of the island’s best bars.

Within the resort, you’ll find countless activities to enjoy: from surfing to kayaking, paddle-boarding, to yoga, snorkeling, cycling, and sailing with their Hobie Cat.

How to Book Nay Palad for Your Wedding

As mentioned, you will need to book the entire resort for your wedding. A minimum of 2 nights is required, but it will also depend on the season as Christmas, New Year and other holidays require guests to book for a minimum of 3 nights. A maximum of only 30 guests can be accommodated for your wedding, making your union truly intimate and exclusive.

The rate is all-inclusive and you can make special requests to the Chef, who can create the perfect fine dining experience for you and your guests. All beverages are also included, whether they be alcoholic or non-alcoholic, except for Champagne.

As for your suppliers, such as your hair and make-up artists, your photographers, band or DJ, stylist, and other vendors, there are only a few of them on the island but with the Siargao Sayak Airport offering daily flights to and from the nearby island of Cebu, and to and from the capital of Manila, flying them to Siargao won’t be a problem.

Siargao truly is the dream wedding destination for anyone looking for an intimate beach wedding. With exclusivity, luxury, and undeniable comfort, Nay Palad offers a wedding experience unlike any other.
